As the Pennsylvania Legislative Session for 2025-26 begins, state Representative Robert Leadbeter is preparing to introduce 29 bills. These initiatives aim to address significant issues within the Commonwealth. Despite being in the minority, Leadbeter emphasizes his dedication to ensuring that conservative values are represented in Harrisburg.

“Being in the minority doesn’t mean sitting on the sidelines,” Leadbeter stated. “It means working even harder to ensure our values are represented and that my constituents see real progress in Harrisburg.”

Leadbeter's proposals tackle various important topics, including regulatory reform to stimulate job growth and defending parental rights in education. His background as a small business owner, corporate executive, and founding member of the PA House Freedom Caucus informs his approach to addressing challenges faced by Pennsylvanians. His legislative agenda prioritizes reducing taxes, supporting small businesses, and creating opportunities for families statewide.

His recent legislative efforts include bills aimed at combating human trafficking, expanding property tax relief for seniors, and enhancing law enforcement and border security to maintain safety in Pennsylvania communities.

Among his 29 proposals are measures focused on protecting job opportunities for U.S. citizens by opposing undocumented worker employment at state universities and eliminating taxpayer-funded subsidies for the film industry. These initiatives underscore Leadbeter’s commitment to fairness, taxpayer protection, and prudent use of government resources.

“Our state thrives when we get government out of the way, prioritize fiscal responsibility, protect individual freedoms, and defend family values,” Leadbeter said. “These proposals are just the beginning of what I hope will be a transformative session for Pennsylvania.”

As preparations continue for the new session of the General Assembly, Leadbeter remains committed to delivering outcomes that align with his constituents' values and concerns through his leadership and proactive strategies.
