State Senator Lynda Culver | Pennsylvania
Senator Lynda Schlegel Culver has announced the allocation of over $2 million in state grants for various projects in Snyder County. These funds, sourced from the Commonwealth Financing Authority’s Local Share Account Program, are intended to support public interest initiatives, community improvement efforts, and economic development through revenue generated by casinos.
“These grants will make possible some large, big-ticket projects in Snyder County that might otherwise be unaffordable for local governments and authorities,” stated Senator Culver. “The state’s financial support will ensure these projects can move forward and make a positive impact in the lives of Snyder County residents.”
The Commonwealth Financing Authority is an independent body within the Department of Community and Economic Development responsible for managing numerous economic development and community enhancement programs across Pennsylvania.
