ADOPT-a-FAMILY – MAKE THE HOLIDAYS SPECIAL
With the assistance of the Owen J. Roberts School District, the church will once again adopt families-in-need for the holiday season. Missy Walton has contacted the Guidance Counselors from the school district letting them know that we are here to support families within the community.
What can you do to help?
There are three ways of giving to this important community outreach.
For those who are attending the in-person services, an Adopt-A-Family money collection box will be placed in the back of the sanctuary from now until Sunday, November 27th, where the congregation can make monetary donations.
Donating online is another option for giving. Go to https://cumc.gvtls.com and select the Adopt-A-Family tab.
Checks (made payable to Coventryville United Methodist Church) can be mailed to the church office at 1521 Old Ridge Rd, Pottstown, PA 19465. Please mark on the envelope that the funds are for the Adopt-A-Family program.
Once all funds have been collected, gift cards will be purchased from Giant, Walmart, and Amazon and given to the families for the parents to do their own holiday shopping.
