State Representative Michael Stender has announced an upcoming Energy Savings Fair, scheduled for Thursday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to noon at Christ Wesleyan Church located at 363 Stamm Road, Milton. The event is free and aims to educate the residents of the 108th District on reducing utility expenses.
The Energy Savings Fair will feature representatives from several organizations, including the PA Public Utility Commission, Central Susquehanna Opportunities, PPL Electric, and the Pennsylvania Office of Consumer Advocate.
State Rep. Michael Stender, representing Northumberland and Montour, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “I’m excited to help bring this opportunity to our community. Utility bills can be costly, especially to families and senior citizens, so I would encourage anyone who is interested in saving a few dollars to attend this event.”
While registration for the fair is not mandatory, it is suggested. Those interested in attending can register by contacting Stender’s district office at 570-286-5885.
