State Rep. Michael Stender | Pennsylvania 108th Legislative District
State Representative Michael Stender has announced an event aimed at enhancing awareness of fraud and scams among the residents of the 108th Legislative District. The free event, titled "Fraud Bingo," will take place on Friday, December 8, at 1 p.m. The location for this initiative will be Chestnut Towers, 725 Chestnut St., Sunbury.
Stender emphasized the importance of education on scams for his constituents, stating, “It is important for the constituents of the 108th District to be aware of the common practices of scams and fraud.” He further explained that the event would provide an enjoyable and educational experience. "This event will not only help senior consumers learn about scammers, but it is also a fun, interactive way of learning through a game we all love – bingo.”
Hosting the game will be George Dillman from the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities, adding an official angle to the educational endeavor.
