Senator Lynda Schlegel Culver will begin hosting regular office hours in Beaver Springs to improve access to state services for local residents. Starting August 3, the office hours will take place on the first Thursday of each month from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Beaver Springs Senior Center, located at 55 Elm St.
During these sessions, Culver's team will offer assistance with various services such as Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program applications, unemployment compensation claims, and PennDOT paperwork. The staff will also provide complimentary notary services and information about state legislation while making referrals to agencies for resolving state-related matters.
“Thank you to the Union-Snyder Area Agency on Aging for sharing its facility,” Culver stated. “My team will be available there on the first Thursday of the month for the foreseeable future. We are excited to provide services at this convenient location to residents of Snyder County.”

Additionally, Ann Kaufman, deputy district director for U.S. Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson, will be present at the Beaver Springs Senior Center on August 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering help with federal government issues including those related to Social Security Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs or Internal Revenue Service.
