Sen. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-27) will host office hours on Thursday, June 20, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rice Township Building, located at 3000 Church Road in Mountain Top. This initiative aims to provide district residents with continued convenient access to state services.

Culver plans to hold office hours at the Rice Township Building on the third Thursday of each month. "Offering monthly office hours in different areas of the district enables my staff and me to reach and serve more people," said Culver. "I appreciate the great people at Rice Township who reached out to my office and offered some space at their facility so we can deliver this important service to the community."

The services provided during these hours will be consistent with those available at her other offices, including assistance with Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program applications, unemployment compensation claims, and PennDOT paperwork. Staff will also offer information about state legislation and make referrals to agencies for resolving state-related matters.

Residents interested in reserving time with staff during the Rice Township outreach hours should call the Luzerne County office at 570-387-4267.
