State Sen. Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-27) is inviting Wilburton area residents affected by the local coal bank fire to join her on Thursday, June 6, at 6 p.m. at the Wilburton Fire Co. meeting hall, located at 209 Smith St., Wilburton. The public meeting will feature Conyngham Township supervisors and representatives from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.

The purpose of the meeting is to provide affected residents with accurate information regarding the coal bank fire and offer an opportunity for them to ask questions.
