Jessica Nirvana Ram is this year’s Stadler Fellow in Literary Arts Administration. She is a recent graduate of the MFA program at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Her poem “unfit to raise daughters” was one of the winners of the 2020 AWP Intro Journals Project. Jessica’s work can also be found in Glass: A Journal of Poetry, Memoir Mixtapes, and Barrelhouse. She is a first generation Indo-Guyanese, daughter of immigrants.
Alberto Reyes Morgan is the Fall 2022 Philip Roth Resident in Creative Writing. He hails from the Mexicali–Imperial Valley border region. His fiction has been published by the Michigan Quarterly Review and anthologized in Catapult’s Best Debut Short Stories 2021: The PEN America Dau Prize. His interviews and translations have appeared in the books Invisible Hands: Voices from the Global Economy; Underground America: Narratives of Undocumented Lives; Solito, Solita: Crossing Borders with Youth Refugees from Central America; and elsewhere.
