Join a movement of people growing food and sharing it with the community. The Office of Civic Engagement hosts community work at both the Lewisburg Community Garden (downtown, a 20 minute walk from campus) and the Bucknell Farm (south campus, behind water towers). Open to students, faculty, staff, families, and the whole community. If you are bringing a group of more than 5 people, please email to coordinate a date/time for your group.
We work together at the campus Farm and in the Community Garden, weeding, harvesting, watering and more. At both locations, we donate the food we grow to various community food programs and to the B-Eats food pantry on campus (2nd floor of ELC).
