Census Bureau: 85 percent of people in Centre County were old enough to vote in 2020

Of the 162,264 citizens living in Centre County in 2020, 137,955 were old enough to vote as of March 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 65,140 of those people were female and 72,815 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
