Dear CMAVTS Families:
As I am sure you are aware, this week Governor Wolfe announced the closure of all Pennsylvania Public Schools for an indefinite period of time. This means that, at this point, we have no set date when students will be allowed to return to school. CMAVTS staff are working on developing answers to many pressing questions at this time. For example:
What is graduation going to look like?
What is prom going to look like?
How are we going to get 9th grade students to see their 4th exploration?
What is happening with the admission of new 9th graders for the 2020-2021 school year?
These are only a few examples of the challenges we and manyl school districts across the state are currently facing. As we continue to work through the current pandemic, be assured that these questions will be answered and that we will return to a sense of normalcy at some point. I encourage anyone with questions to forward them to CMAVTS administration via email or telephone. I also encourage you to guide your student through the enrichment and review activities that are currently posted in Google Classroom. We will continue to keep you updated with additional information as it becomes available. Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation as we navigate this difficult time period. Be safe.
Thank You.
Mr. James Dunkelberger, Acting Administrative Director
