Rep. Michael Stender is inviting seniors from the 108th District to attend an event focused on protecting older Pennsylvanians from scams. The event, called Fraud Bingo, will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 1 p.m. at the Degenstein Community Library.

“This event is a fun, engaging way for seniors to learn about common scams and how to avoid becoming a victim,” said Stender. “It is part of my ongoing work to keep our community informed and safe.”

Participants will play bingo while learning about warning signs of fraud, prevention strategies, and steps to take if they suspect they are being targeted by scammers. Registration is required for the event, and those interested can reserve a seat by visiting RepStender.com/events or calling 570-286-5885.

For additional information, individuals can contact Stender’s office.
