Senator Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-27) will organize a STEM event for students and families on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Danville Middle School in Danville. The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The program will include interactive exhibits and hands-on activities aimed at encouraging students to explore science and technology. Students between the ages of 6 and 12 are invited to attend with their families. Demonstrations will be led by local educators, organizations, and businesses.
Organizations participating as exhibitors include the Pennsylvania Game Commission, Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit, Bloomsburg Children’s Museum, DegenSTEAM Academy, and Vytal Plant Science Research’s STEM Mobile Bus Unit, along with other regional partners.
“This event is a wonderful opportunity for students and families to see how science and technology connect to real-world careers,” Culver said. “By giving children the chance to experience STEM learning up close, we can help spark curiosity and prepare them for the opportunities of the future.”
The event is free and open to the public. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is available but not required. More information is available at SenatorCulver.com or by calling 570-743-1918.
