Senator Lynda Schlegel Culver (R-27) and Central Susquehanna Opportunities, Inc. (CSO) are set to host two community events on Thursday, September 4, at the HUB at Mulberry Mill in Bloomsburg.
The first event begins at 3:00 PM, when CSO will mark the one-year anniversary of its Mobile Food Pantry. During this ceremony, a new Mini Mobile Pantry will also be introduced with a ribbon-cutting. The Mobile Pantry program has increased food access for families across the region through support from various community partners and funders.
Later in the day, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, Senator Culver will hold an Open House and Ribbon Cutting for her new Bloomsburg District Office at the same location. Residents are invited to visit the office, meet staff members, and learn about available services.
“I’m excited to open our new Bloomsburg office in a location that places us alongside strong community partners like CSO,” Culver said. “Together, we are working to ensure families across Columbia County and the surrounding region have access to the resources and support they need.”
Both events are free and open to all members of the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
