Senator Lynda Schlegel Culver and Representative Justin Fleming are set to host Scouting America at the Capitol on Monday, June 9, for their annual “Report to the Commonwealth.” The event will occur in the Capitol Rotunda at 11:15 a.m.
Scouting America, previously known as the Boy Scouts of America, is a Congressionally Chartered Organization responsible for delivering official reports to federal leaders. This tradition has been adopted by several states, including Pennsylvania, to emphasize Scouting’s contributions at the state level. The report highlights community service, leadership, and personal development efforts made by Scouts across the Commonwealth.
The press conference will feature remarks from legislative leaders and Scout representatives. Media coverage is welcomed and appreciated.
