House Republicans to host hearing on family affordability issues in Easton

House Republican Policy Committee Chairman David H. Rowe and Representative Ann Flood will hold a hearing focused on the affordability of everyday essentials for families. The event, titled “Affordability for Families,” is set to take place on Thursday, February 12, at 9:30 a.m. at the Crayola Factory and Headquarters in Easton, Pennsylvania.

The hearing aims to examine challenges that families face when purchasing basic necessities and will consider potential solutions for targeted back-to-school relief. Mikal Sabatine, director of Families First of Pen Argyl; Sarah Whitworth, school counselor at Moore Elementary School; and Marisa Elias, a parent from Pennsylvania, are scheduled to testify.
