About 23 percent of the 2,089 degrees and certificates handed out by Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency’s National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Bloomsburg conferred 434 bachelor’s degrees and 46 master’s degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor’s degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 344 bachelor’s degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 115 bachelor’s degrees in criminal justice/safety studies and 97 bachelor’s degrees in general psychology.

The university enrolled 8,909 students for 2017-18, including 8,238 in undergraduate programs and 671 in graduate programs.
