Geisinger has announced the opening of registration for its 2025 culinary medicine classes. These sessions, available both in-person and online, aim to blend cooking skills with nutritional science. The program is designed to provide an evidence-based approach to health by integrating food preparation with nutrition education.
The classes are conducted by a registered dietitian nutritionist and will cover various topics such as healthy meals, portion sizes, label reading, snacking habits, eating behaviors, kitchen safety, and smart shopping practices. Participants can choose to attend these free classes at Geisinger’s teaching kitchen in Selinsgrove or join virtually.
To register for the classes, interested individuals can visit geisinger.org/cooking. For any inquiries regarding the program, emails can be sent to culinarymedicine@geisinger.edu.
