Geisinger has added two new dermatologists to its Scenery Park clinic in State College. Erinola Araoye, M.D., will see adult patients from Monday through Thursday. Dr. Araoye received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and completed residencies at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore and UPMC.

Tara Avery, M.D., will provide care for both children and adults on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the same location. Dr. Avery earned her medical degree from Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine and completed her residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Both physicians are members of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Geisinger’s dermatology team treats a variety of skin conditions, including diseases and inflammatory disorders, and offers cosmetic services such as laser hair removal and Botox injections. Patients interested in scheduling an appointment can call 800-230-4565.

Geisinger serves more than 1.2 million people across central and northeastern Pennsylvania through its network of 163 care sites, which includes 10 hospital campuses. The organization employs over 27,000 people, making it one of the largest employers in Pennsylvania. In addition to healthcare services, Geisinger operates a health plan with over half a million members and supports education through the Geisinger College of Health Sciences, which trains more than 5,000 medical professionals each year. In 2024, Geisinger became part of Risant Health to further value-based care initiatives nationwide.
