Senator Lynda Schlegel Culver is asking residents in the 27th Senatorial District to take part in Hunger Action Month by donating unexpired, non-perishable food items at her district offices. The collected donations will be given to local food banks to help families facing food insecurity.

“Hunger Action Month is an important reminder that too many of our neighbors struggle with food insecurity,” Culver said. “By coming together as a community, we can make a meaningful difference. Even a small donation can have a big impact on a local family.”

Residents can bring their donations to any of Senator Culver’s district offices during regular business hours throughout September. More information is available at senatorculver.com.
