The purpose of the plan is to examine a variety of issues that touch the lives of county residents daily such as broadband connectivity, economic development, energy resources, housing, land use, natural resources, transportation, sewer, water, and many others.

You can get involved by taking a survey to inform us about issues, opportunities, and ideas you have to improve the county and our communities.  Click here to take the short survey.

Survey responses will be accepted until December 31, 2022. If you are unable to complete the survey online, contact the Planning & Economic Development Office at (570) 524-3840.  If you would like to stay informed on comprehensive plan news, you can subscribe to our email list here.
